About La Casa del Tempo

Every first Sunday of the month, Piazza Ganganelli and the Loggiato Comunale of Santarcangelo di Romagna transform into a large open-air market dedicated to antiques, modern antiques, vintage, and collectibles. Active since 1996, La Casa del Tempo brings together about a hundred selected exhibitors offering furniture, silverware, ceramics, watches, books, vinyl records, and vintage curiosities. A stroll through memories in the heart of the city of theatre and poetry, with free admission from 9 am to 7 pm.

A Journey Through Time in Piazza Ganganelli

Every first Sunday of the month, the historic center of Santarcangelo di Romagna, in the province of Rimini, hosts La Casa del Tempo, one of the most appreciated antiques and vintage markets in Romagna. Stalls fill the picturesque Piazza Ganganelli and the Loggiato Comunale, turning the city's main square into an open-air path of objects, memories, and small stories to rediscover.

What You'll Find Among the Stalls

The exhibitors, around a hundred at each event, offer a curated selection in terms of type and variety. Wandering through the stalls, you might come across:

  • Furniture and furnishings from antique and mid-century periods;
  • Silverware, ceramics, and watches for collectors;
  • Books, prints, and vinyl records for enthusiasts and the curious;
  • Vintage textiles, accessories, and clothing;
  • Memorabilia, numismatics, and various objects, mainly from the 20th century but also from earlier eras.

It's a haven for those who love collecting, distinctive decor, and bargain hunting, but also for those who simply want to browse and be surprised by a detail from the past.

Since 1996, a Santarcangelo Tradition

La Casa del Tempo has enlivened the center of Santarcangelo di Romagna since 1996 and is now a regular fixture on the local calendar, recognized even beyond the borders of Emilia-Romagna. The setting is no accident: Santarcangelo, known as the city of theatre and poetry, lends the market a special atmosphere, with its arcades, cobbled streets, and medieval vistas providing the ideal backdrop for searching for vintage items.

An Experience of Shopping and Strolling

Admission is completely free, and the market runs all day, from 9 am to 7 pm, even during the summer months. It's the perfect opportunity to combine antique shopping with a visit to the town, exploring its artisan shops, trattorias, and the famous tuff stone undergrounds of Santarcangelo. The event is organized by Blu Nautilus, a Rimini-based company specializing in antique fairs and markets.

Programme La Casa del Tempo 2026

How Each Sunday Unfolds

The formula is the tried-and-tested monthly market: stalls open in the morning and remain set up for the entire day, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, in Piazza Ganganelli and along the Loggiato Comunale.

  • 09:00 AM — Market opens and exhibitors' stalls are set up;
  • Morning and Afternoon — Display and sale of furniture, silverware, ceramics, watches, books, vinyl records, textiles, numismatics, and various objects by about a hundred exhibitors;
  • 07:00 PM — Day concludes.

As this is an antiques market, there is no scheduled program of performances; the heart of the event is the selection of exhibitors and vintage items, which changes from one edition to the next.
