The World Meeting of Escoffier Disciples — Molise is a historic event for Molise's gastronomy. In Montenero di Bisaccia, in the province of Campobasso, the World School of the Escoffier Disciples officially establishes its regional delegation, led by Fabio Sparvieri, in the presence of the national President Claudio Barisone.
A bridge between Escoffier and the territory
The heart of the meeting is the project 'Sacred & Profane – The Suspended Step Dinner', described as a symbolic bridge between the great chef Auguste Escoffier and Saint Francis Caracciolo, with the participation of the mayor-chef of Villa Santa Maria. There is also space for the valorization of Molise's 'Tante T' — Tintilia wine, Territory, Trabocchi, Tratturi, and Transhumance — illustrated by Professor Sebastiano Delfine of the University of Molise.
Italian cuisine, a heritage of humanity
The initiative is part of 2026, the year of the recognition of Italian Cuisine as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity: an opportunity to bring Molise's food and wine scene into the international spotlight.
Escoffier Disciples in Molise — edition 2026
The inaugural edition was held on March 2, 2026, at Agriturismo Il Quadrifoglio in Montenero di Bisaccia, with the official establishment of the regional delegation of Escoffier Disciples and the presentation of food and wine projects dedicated to the territory. A European gathering is planned for the following months, also in Montenero.

Montenero di Bisaccia (CB) is reachable from the A14 highway (Montenero di Bisaccia-Vasto Sud exit) and the SS16. The meeting takes place at Agriturismo Il Quadrifoglio.
