A fair with centuries of history
The Larino October Fair is one of the oldest fairs in Lower Molise. Officially established in 1742 by decree of Charles III of Bourbon – but heir to even older mercantile traditions – the fair has spanned the centuries, maintaining its role as a major event for the rural economy of the province of Campobasso.
Exhibitors and products
The fair takes place at the Monte Arcano Exhibition Centre and brings together about one hundred exhibitors: local producers, farmers, breeders, and artisans from the area. Great space is dedicated to agriculture and livestock, with the presence of horses and ponies, and to the promotion of typical Molise products.
An identity that endures
For the city of Larino, the October Fair is much more than a commercial event: it is an identity ritual that renews the Frentanian community's bond with its land and its production traditions every year, attracting visitors from all over Molise and neighboring regions.

The 2026 edition, the 283rd, is scheduled for October at the Monte Arcano Exhibition Centre, in line with the annual cadence that has characterized the event for centuries.
