A journey into the heart of the South Tyrol Wine Road

WineSafari is a guided food and wine tour that takes enthusiasts on a journey to discover the South Tyrol Wine Road (Südtiroler Weinstraße), the route that winds through the vineyards of the Bassa Atesina. The initiative is organized by the South Tyrol Wine Road Association, with its starting and ending point in Termeno sulla strada del vino/Tramin an der Weinstraße, a premier wine-producing town in the province of Bolzano, in the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige.

How the day unfolds

WineSafari is a full-day experience, running approximately from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Participants are accompanied by an expert guide on a coach, traveling along the Wine Road through wineries, vineyards, and charming villages. A convenient shuttle service picks up guests in the morning and returns them at the end of the day.

A program that is always different

One of the hallmarks of WineSafari is that the program varies for every appointment: no two tours are the same, and there is always something new to discover, with different wineries and producers featured in each monthly edition. This makes the experience repeatable and perfect even for those who already know the area.

The setting: Termeno and the Bassa Atesina

Termeno/Tramin is famous for being the cradle of Gewürztraminer and one of the most representative centers of South Tyrolean wine culture. The town, with its position along the Wine Road between Lake Caldaro and the Adige Valley, offers the ideal backdrop for an experience dedicated to wine and conviviality, blending tradition, landscape, and high-quality oenology.
