A morning of music and wine in the historic courtyard of the Sternbauernhof, along the South Tyrol Wine Road
WeinKlänge on the South Tyrol Wine Road is one of South Tyrol's most elegant autumn festivals. Created to celebrate the deep bond between wine culture and great music, the event brings a series of excellent concerts to farmsteads, wineries, castles, and historic palaces scattered along one of Italy's oldest and most beautiful wine routes. At each event, the audience enjoys a musical performance followed by the opportunity to taste a selection of fine local wines in settings steeped in history and charm.
In the municipality of Andriano/Andrian, in the province of Bolzano, the festival features a matinée hosted in the historic courtyard of the Sternbauernhof, one of the village's most characteristic corners. In the intimate setting of the farm courtyard, the morning concert creates a sunny and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for enjoying music with a glass of wine. After the performance, guests sample a selection of wines from the Cantina Andriano (Kellerei Andrian), a historic local cooperative winery and one of the oldest in South Tyrol. Recent editions of the Andriano matinée have featured the Dolomiti Saxophone Quartet, with a program spanning various genres thanks to the versatile timbre of the saxophone ensemble.
Beyond Andriano, the festival involves numerous municipalities along the South Tyrol Wine Road, from Nalles to Salorno, including the provincial capital Bolzano — as well as Terlano, Appiano, Caldaro, Termeno, Egna, and Vadena — offering a rich calendar of concerts in diverse locations: from farmsteads to castles, and from noble palaces to cooperative wineries. The repertoire ranges from classical music to jazz, and from film scores to pop, catering to a diverse audience of music and food-and-wine enthusiasts.
The event is organized by the South Tyrol Wine Road Association in collaboration with local tourist boards; the Andriano stop is curated by the Andriano Tourist Office (Tourismusverein Andrian). WeinKlänge highlights the oenological, architectural, and landscape heritage of the area, offering visitors a refined and original way to discover the Autonomous Province of Bolzano and Trentino-South Tyrol in the golden light of autumn, amidst vineyards, farmsteads, and historic cellars.
The new edition of WeinKlänge on the South Tyrol Wine Road, the fourth consecutive one, is scheduled from October 16 to November 6, 2026, along the South Tyrol Wine Road. As in previous editions, the festival will offer a series of concerts paired with tastings of South Tyrolean wines, hosted in farmsteads, wineries, castles, and historic palaces between Nalles and Salorno.
In Andriano/Andrian, the matinée in the courtyard of the Sternbauernhof is expected to return, featuring a tasting of wines from the Cantina Andriano. At the moment, the exact date and musical program for the Andriano stop have not yet been announced: the detailed calendar of individual concerts, including artists, times, and wines to be tasted, will be communicated by the South Tyrol Wine Road Association and the Andriano Tourist Office in the weeks leading up to the event.
