Now in its 34th edition, the event is deeply rooted in local hunting culture: originally founded years ago in Certaldo, the festival is organized by the historic Canard-Fiorentina hunting team, which has made it a benchmark for game cuisine enthusiasts.
The absolute star of the festival is the wild boar, prepared according to traditional Tuscan recipes. The rich and generous menu guides visitors from appetizers to dessert with simple, flavorful dishes.
The festival takes place at the Parco Urbano of Montespertoli, in spacious heated indoor areas designed to comfortably accommodate families and groups of friends even on cooler spring evenings. The long tables create the festive village atmosphere typical of Tuscan sagre, where good food meets conviviality and intergenerational connection.

The schedule included: Friday, April 24 (dinner); Saturday, April 25 (lunch and dinner); Sunday, April 26 (lunch); Thursday, April 30 (dinner); Friday, May 1 (lunch and dinner); Saturday, May 2 (dinner); Sunday, May 3 (lunch). On the menu: pappardelle with wild boar ragù, wild boar stew with black olives, polenta, Tuscan cured meats, wild boar steak, and grilled meats.
