A motorcycle rally in the heart of the Saluzzo area

The Valli Saluzzesi Motorcycle Meet is one of the most beloved motor events in the Province of Cuneo, Piedmont. It takes place in Costigliole Saluzzo, a town at the foot of the valleys rising toward the Monviso, and was born from the enthusiasm of the local Pro Loco together with friends and former riders from Team Cross Gil. Open to motorcycles of all types, engine sizes, ages, and brands, the rally gathers over a hundred motorcyclists every year, coming not only from the Cuneo area but also from Casale Monferrato, Savona, Genoa, and Imperia.

The blessing of the bikes

The most iconic moment of the day is the blessing of the bikes, celebrated by Father Claudio, a priest and biker, in front of the Monument to the Motorcyclist in Costigliole Saluzzo. The monument, restored specifically for the event, has become a symbol of the passion that links the town to the world of two wheels. From here, the caravan sets off to traverse the scenic roads of the Saluzzo valleys.

A ride through valleys and sanctuaries

After registering in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, participants head out for a tour through the valley hairpins. The destination changes every year: past editions have climbed toward the Rifugio Melezé in Valle Varaita, and for the 2026 edition, a picturesque scenic aperitif is planned at the Santuario di Valmala. Curves, panoramas, and fresh mountain air provide the backdrop for a group ride that is both a celebration and a tradition.

Convivial lunch and show

Upon returning to town, everyone gathers for lunch near Piazza Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa in a cheerful, family atmosphere. In past editions, the day concluded with performances by folk groups such as flag-wavers; in 2026, the program is enriched by a motocross show featuring historic riders and active champions, including former MX2 champion Luca Marra and quad cross champion Daniel Dalmasso.

A growing tradition

Launched in 2023, the event has grown with each edition to become a fixture in the spring-summer calendar of the Saluzzo area. It is an opportunity to experience the territory, support the Pro Loco, and breathe in the community spirit that animates Costigliole Saluzzo, amidst motorcycles, local gastronomy, and Piedmontese hospitality.
