The Trento Summer Festival is one of the most beloved live music events in the capital of Trentino-Alto Adige. Every summer, the central Piazza Fiera in Trento transforms into a grand open-air stage hosting some of the most important performers in the Italian music scene. Over the years, these evenings—held under the summer sky amidst the historic facades of the city center—have become a true ritual for music lovers from the city and across the entire Trentino region.

A Trentino summer tradition

Created to bring life to the center of Trento during the warmer months, the festival was founded by Roland Barbacovi (The Showtime Agency) and Alessandro Raffaelli (Radio Italia Anni '60) and has firmly established itself as a staple of the Trentino summer. Throughout its editions, Piazza Fiera has welcomed top-tier artists from the national scene, alternating between singer-songwriter works, pop, and the great classics of Italian light music.

The choice of Piazza Fiera as a venue is no coincidence: the square, overlooking the ancient city walls, offers an intimate and evocative atmosphere, ideal for evening concerts. The stage is set up outdoors, and shows proceed regardless of weather conditions, with both seated and standing areas available depending on the evening's setup.

An event supported by the territory

The Trento Summer Festival is produced with the support of the Centro Servizi Culturali Santa Chiara, the tourism department of the Autonomous Province of Trento, and numerous local partners and sponsors, confirming the event's deep roots in the Trentino cultural fabric.
