About Vivere il Parco

Vivere il Parco is a summer cultural festival that brings the historic Parco delle Terme in Levico Terme, Valsugana, to life from June to September. The rich, entirely free program—promoted by the Autonomous Province of Trento—features evening concerts, guided botanical tours, workshops for adults and children, author meet-and-greets, and two exhibitions in the most important historic park in Trentino.

Vivere il Parco in Levico Terme

Vivere il Parco is the summer cultural festival that transforms the Parco delle Terme in Levico Terme, located in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige), into a grand open-air stage every year from June to late September. Promoted by the Employment Support and Environmental Valorization Service of the Autonomous Province of Trento, the event blends music, nature, literature, and environmental education within an exceptional landscape.

The Parco delle Terme: The Festival's Backdrop

Designed by landscape architect Georg Ziehl and inaugurated in 1902, the Parco delle Terme in Levico is considered the most significant historic park in Trentino. It spans over thirteen hectares of Habsburg-era English-style gardens, featuring monumental trees, rare plant species, and stunning views of the Valsugana valley. This is the setting for the festival's events, many of which are designed to showcase the park's botanical and landscape heritage.

A Program of Music, Nature, and Culture

The heart of the festival is the evening concert series, ranging from jazz and classical music to ethnic sounds and singer-songwriter repertoires, featuring internationally acclaimed ensembles and soloists. Alongside the music, the program includes weekly Tuesday botanical tours, workshops dedicated to gardening, composting, and herbs, as well as environmental education activities and theater performances for children.

  • Evening concerts featuring jazz, classical, contemporary, and ethnic music
  • Weekly guided botanical tours in the historic park
  • Workshops for adults and children on greenery, biodiversity, and recycling
  • Family theater and afternoon shows for children
  • The "Levico incontra gli autori" literary series, featuring meetings with writers, essayists, and experts
  • Exhibitions hosted in the greenhouse and at Villa Paradiso

Literature and Exhibitions

Vivere il Parco also hosts the "Levico incontra gli autori" literary cycle, bringing contemporary writers and experts to the park. The calendar is rounded out by exhibitions held in the greenhouse and the halls of Villa Paradiso, focusing on the world of orchids and the history of gardens.

Free Participation

All Vivere il Parco events are free of charge. For guided tours and workshops, registration is generally required at the park's information points. The event reaffirms the role of the Parco delle Terme in Levico as a hub for culture, social interaction, and environmental appreciation for the entire Valsugana region and Trentino.

Vivere il Parco — edition 2026

The musical season, with events at 9:00 PM, kicks off on June 25 and runs all summer long: from the jazz and folk of Ava Alami and Vittorio Esposito to the Trio Madani-Librasi with contemporary Persian traditions, the Trio Hyperkronos with Brahms to the Bassland Quartet, the tribute to Pino Daniele by Liana Marino and Max De Aloe, the 17th-century repertoire of Le dame di Margherita, and the Brazilian and African sounds of the Trio BraZuka.

Nature, Workshops, and Families

Every Tuesday, starting June 23, guided botanical tours depart from Viale Rovigo. Throughout the week, there are workshops for adults on gardening, composting, and herbs, environmental education activities for children, and bread-making workshops. For families, afternoon theater performances for children are also scheduled.
