About Sicilian Festival

The Sicilian Festival brings the colors, sounds, and scents of the Mediterranean's largest island to Grugliasco, just outside Turin. For an entire weekend, Parco Aldo Moro transforms into a culinary caravan featuring arancine, pane ca meusa, cannoli, and cassate, accompanied by music, folklore, and entertainment. Free admission, open continuously from 10 am to midnight, with plenty of specialties to discover.

A corner of Sicily in Piedmont

The Sicilian Festival is an event that, every spring, turns Parco Aldo Moro in Grugliasco into a true corner of Sicily. Organized by the APS Sicilia Promotion association, the festival was created to bring the colors, sounds, and scents of the island to the heart of the Metropolitan City of Turin, in Piedmont. Launched in 2025, it quickly won over the Turin public and has already become a highly anticipated date on the local food and wine calendar.

Sicilian street food takes center stage

The heart of the event is undoubtedly the culinary caravan: stalls, gazebos, and covered seating areas set up in the park offer the best of Sicilian gastronomic tradition. Specialties you can taste include:

  • the unmissable arancine in their many varieties;
  • pane ca meusa, the typical spleen sandwich from Palermo;
  • stigghiola and mixed fried seafood;
  • pasta con le sarde;
  • the island's most famous desserts, from cannoli to cassate.

To accompany the dishes, there is no shortage of craft beers and wines, perfect for completing the culinary experience. The continuous opening hours, from 10 am to midnight, allow you to enjoy the festival for both lunch and dinner.

Music, folklore, and entertainment

The Sicilian Festival is not just about gastronomy: throughout the event, the park comes alive with music, folklore, and entertainment that evokes the atmosphere of Sicilian village festivals. The presence of special guests and artists linked to the island enriches the program and creates a convivial, family-friendly atmosphere suitable for all ages.

An event for Grugliasco and the Province of Turin

Thanks to free admission and its convenient location just outside Turin, the Sicilian Festival attracts visitors from all over the province. It is the perfect opportunity for those who want to treat themselves to a journey through the flavors of Sicily without leaving Piedmont, in a green and welcoming setting like Parco Aldo Moro. An event that unites the Sicilian community and the local public in the spirit of conviviality and good food.
