Summer evenings of shopping, music, and street food in the heart of Pianezza
With the arrival of summer, the center of Pianezza, a town on the western outskirts of the Metropolitan City of Turin, comes alive every week with the White Nights, also known as "Wednesdays under the stars." It is one of the most anticipated events of the Pianezza summer: from 7 PM to midnight, the streets and squares become the stage for a large, widespread event that combines commerce, music, and fun for the whole family.
The heart of the initiative is the opportunity to experience the town in the evening: local shops stay open alongside stalls, markets, and street food stands. Live music and DJs animate the streets, where it is not uncommon to see people dancing, while an area dedicated to games and activities for children makes the evening suitable for young families as well.
One of the hallmarks of the Pianezza White Nights is their itinerant nature: they do not take place only in the historic center, but from time to time they also involve other commercial areas of the town. Over the years, the events have touched various streets and squares, including Largo 2 Giugno, via Aldo Moro, Piazza Macario, and via Musinรจ, thus enhancing the entire commercial fabric of Pianezza.
Alongside the Wednesday appointments, the program includes some special Friday evenings hosted in Piazza Macario, as well as events that attract a wider audience: the Miss Italia selections and the La Dama dei Castelli del Piemonte competition, hosted at the evocative Sanctuary of San Pancrazio. These are the moments that give the White Nights a reach that goes beyond the single town, attracting visitors from all over the western Turin area.
The initiative is the result of the collaboration between the Municipality of Pianezza, the Merchants' Union, and the local Pro Loco. More than just a commercial event, the White Nights represent a social gathering for residents and an opportunity to discover a Piedmontese town often far from the major tourist circuits, yet lively and welcoming on its summer evenings.
The 2026 edition of the Pianezza White Nights takes place every Wednesday from June 10 to July 29, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM. As every year, the event is itinerant and involves not only the historic center but also other commercial areas of the city.
The initiative, promoted by the Municipality of Pianezza together with the Merchants' Union and the Pro Loco, offers shops open in the evening, stalls, markets, street food, live music, and DJs, as well as an area dedicated to games and activities for children.

Access to the evenings is free. Any street food consumption, purchases at markets, and in shops are paid.
