A celebration of commerce in the heart of Cecina

The Sbaracco Fair is one of the most anticipated open-air shopping events in Cecina, a lively town on the Livorno coast in Tuscany. For two days, the city center transforms into a large open-air market: shops from the main street "step out" of their storefronts and set up stalls along the roads, creating an event that goes far beyond a simple end-of-season sale.

Not just a sale, but a true festival

The spirit of the initiative is to promote local commerce and the shops of the historic center. Merchants offer end-of-season products, stock items, and selected goods at exceptional prices, including clothing, footwear, accessories, and much more. This well-established format attracts residents and visitors from neighboring towns every year, drawn by the great deals and the festive atmosphere found among the stalls.

The Sbaracco Fair is also a great way to discover Cecina at a leisurely pace: a walk through the downtown stalls, a coffee break in one of the main street cafes, an aperitif in the historic squares, or a stroll toward the seafront. The event perfectly combines quality shopping at affordable prices with the chance to enjoy the city center during a festive day.

When it takes place

The event is traditionally held in two editions per year: one in late winter and one in August. On both occasions, the city streets, starting from Corso Matteotti, are filled with stalls from morning until evening.

Organization

The Sbaracco Fair is organized by the Centro Commerciale Naturale Cecina Centro, with the patronage of the Municipality of Cecina and the collaboration of Confcommercio of the Province of Livorno, along with numerous local partners and sponsors. It is a successful example of how merchant associations can enliven the city center and support local businesses.
