Three days of village celebrations in the Sant'Anna hamlet of Vallarsa
Sant'Anna in Festa is the summer event that brings the hamlet of Sant'Anna to life every year at the end of July, located in the municipality of Vallarsa, in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige). Organized with passion by the Associazione Giovani S.Anna, the event is a typical mountain village festival: three days of genuine food, live music, and entertainment designed for a public of all ages, from children to the community's elders.
The most anticipated moment is the Camminasantanna, a food and wine walk that winds through the districts and trails of the hamlet. Along the route, participants encounter various stops where they can taste typical local products and traditional Trentino dishes, all in an atmosphere of joy and conviviality. It is a beautiful and informal way to discover the most characteristic corners of Sant'Anna, amidst meadows, woods, and glimpses of the Vallarsa valley.
During the festival evenings, there is no shortage of food stalls, music, and opportunities for the entire community to gather. The program alternates between activities designed for families and more convivial events for adults, often in collaboration with the local library and community associations. Over the years, the festival has also hosted shows for children, such as puppet musicals with live music performed at the hamlet's theater.
Vallarsa is a scattered municipality in the far south of Trentino, nestled between the Pasubio massif and the Little Dolomites, a land marked by the history of the Great War and rich in trails and scattered hamlets. In this context, festivals like Sant'Anna in Festa represent an important pillar of village life: an opportunity for the community to come together and for visitors to experience the authentic hospitality of the Trentino mountains.
Sant'Anna in Festa 2026 will be held from Wednesday, July 29 to Friday, July 31 in the Sant'Anna hamlet of Vallarsa (TN). As per tradition, the festival will offer three days of conviviality with food stalls, music, and entertainment for all ages, as well as the Camminasantanna, the food and wine walk through the local districts. The full program, with schedules and evening details, will be released by the Associazione Giovani S.Anna and on the Visit Vallarsa event calendar in the weeks preceding the event.
The hamlet of Sant'Anna can be reached by car by driving up the Vallarsa valley from the Vallarsa state road (SS46), south of Rovereto. From the Rovereto Sud motorway exit (A22), continue towards Vallarsa. The nearest train station is Rovereto, on the Brenner line.
For the detailed program and schedules, it is recommended to check the pages of the Associazione Giovani S.Anna and the Visit Vallarsa event calendar. Info: [email protected], tel. +39 0464 869048.
