San Gottardo of Hildesheim is the patron saint of Bene Vagienna, a town in the province of Cuneo in the heart of Piedmont. Throughout the festival, the historic center of Bene Vagienna is transformed: from Friday to Sunday, the traditional funfair arrives, with rides enlivening the squares, while street food stalls offer specialties to enjoy while strolling through the village streets. Religious tradition and popular devotion
