The Sagra del Risotto al Pesce Persico is one of the most beloved gastronomic festivals of the Upper Lake Como, and it takes place on the picturesque lakefront of Cremia, in the province of Como. The absolute star is the risotto with perch, the signature dish of the Larian tradition, prepared with fresh fish from the lake and finished according to the rules of the Academy of Risotto al Pesce Persico.

Free tastings and live music

The festival's format is that of a celebration: risotto tastings are free, distributed along the lakeshore starting from the late afternoon. Accompanying the tasting will be live music and stands featuring local producers, artisans, and food and wine operators, for an evening that combines taste, conviviality, and landscape.

A recipe that is heritage

Risotto with perch is much more than a first course: it is an identity symbol of Lake Como, linked to traditional fishing and the cuisine of Larian families. The Cremia festival celebrates its history and value, preserving a handed-down recipe and promoting lake fish as an excellent local ingredient.

Part of a larger project

The event is part of the project "Upper Lake Como: a heritage of flavors, nature, stories, and traditions", which brings together numerous events from the municipalities on the upper side of the lake, with Dongo as the lead and support from the Lombardy Region. For Cremia, the festival is an opportunity to welcome visitors and showcase its traditions in a natural setting of rare beauty.
