The Sagra dei Calsù celebrates the signature dish of Vione, a small municipality in the upper Valle Camonica, province of Brescia. The calsù are stuffed ravioli prepared following an ancient mountain recipe, passed down through generations: a pasta parcel that encapsulates the flavours of Camuna tradition.
A walk through the hamlets
The festival takes place as an evening gastronomic walk through the historic center of the village. Along the route, which starts from Piazza Vittoria, historic homes, haylofts, and courtyards, normally closed, open up, where visitors can stop to taste the calsù and other local specialities. An original way to discover the architecture and atmosphere of an alpine village.
More than just a sagra
Alongside the food, the evening offers street artists, shows, concerts, and games for children, as well as guided tours of the historic center. The event, organised by the Municipality of Vione in collaboration with the Pro Loco (local tourist board), has limited capacity: registration is mandatory and places are limited. An event that, on summer evenings, fills the village streets and tells the story of the identity of the upper Valle Camonica.
Sagra dei Calsù — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Sagra dei Calsù will take place in the historic center of Vione with the usual evening gastronomic walk among historic homes, haylofts, and courtyards. The stars are the calsù prepared according to the ancient local recipe. As this is a limited-capacity event, the precise date, times, and registration methods will be announced by the Municipality of Vione and the Pro Loco closer to the event.

The detailed program for the next edition will be published by the Municipality of Vione. Based on previous editions, the evening (from 7:00 PM) will include:
- Gastronomic walk through the historic center with tastings of calsù and local specialities in historic homes, haylofts, and courtyards.

How to get there
Vione is located in the upper Valle Camonica, in the province of Brescia, along the road leading to the Tonale Pass. The sagra route starts from the historic center (Piazza Vittoria).
