La Miğiondàra in Sondalo

La Miğiondàra is the autumn gastronomic walk that enlivens the hamlet of Migiondo, in the municipality of Sondalo (Province of Sondrio), in Alta Valtellina, every year. Organized by APT Sondalo, the event combines the discovery of an authentic mountain village with the pleasure of Valtellina's fine dining, on a route with stops for tastings and entertainment.

A Hamlet of Stone and Frescoes

The heart of the event is Migiondo itself, with its stone houses, courtyards, frescoes, and ancient barns. Walking through its streets means immersing yourself in a rural mountain landscape that has remained true to tradition, where every corner tells the story of the Valtellina community.

Tastings and Entertainment

Along the route, volunteers serve typical valley products at various stations: cured meats, cheeses, pizzoccheri, and other specialties that make Valtellina a land of great gastronomic tradition. Between stops, there are plenty of games, workshops for children, and music, in a festive atmosphere that involves the whole family.

Sondalo, the gateway to the Stelvio National Park, is one of the most picturesque centers in Alta Valtellina, in Lombardy. La Miğiondàra is the ideal opportunity to discover this territory in the autumn season, amidst the colors of the woods and the genuine flavors of the mountains.
