The Festa di San Martino e Casonselada celebrates one of the most beloved dishes of traditional mountain cuisine in Brescia: casonsèi, the typical stuffed pasta of Valle Camonica. The festival takes place in Vezza d'Oglio, a municipality in the upper Valle Camonica in the province of Brescia, at the Centro Eventi Adamello.
Dinner and casonsèi contest
Organised by the Pro Loco of Vezza d'Oglio, the evening offers a dinner with traditional dishes (appetisers, casonsèi, dessert, water, wine, and coffee) and the unmissable casonsèi contest: a challenge among eaters where the winner is the one who clears their plate the fastest, with the prize being... more casonsèi. A convivial and fun event that brings together the village and visitors.
An established tradition
Now a well-established event on Vezza d'Oglio's autumn calendar, the Casonselada links the feast day of San Martino to the flavours of Camunian cuisine. Registration for the dinner and contest is handled by the Pro Loco. It's an opportunity to discover the upper Valle Camonica out of season, at the foot of the Adamello massif.

The 2026 edition of the Casonselada will be held in November at the Centro Eventi Adamello in Vezza d'Oglio, in the upper Valle Camonica.
