The Sagra del Persighin takes place in the village of Oga, a hamlet of the municipality of Valdisotto, in the province of Sondrio, a few kilometers from Bormio. The absolute protagonist is the persighin, a local chanterelle (cantarello) appreciated for its distinctive aroma and authentic flavor.
A day of celebration in the village
The festival enlivens the historic center of Oga with creative markets, artisan stalls and local products, workshops for children, and guided tours of the village's heritage, such as Casa Rocca. The highlight is the lunch in the square featuring persighin mushrooms, around which the entire festival revolves.
Tradition of Alta Valtellina
Now in its thirtieth edition, the Sagra del Persighin is one of the most established gastronomic events of the Valdisotto summer. Visiting Oga during the festival means discovering an authentic corner of alpine Lombardy, amidst panoramas of Alta Valtellina, peasant traditions, and the culture of the woods and its fruits.

The 2026 edition of the Sagra del Persighin, marking the thirtieth anniversary of the event, is scheduled for August in Oga di Valdisotto. The format will follow the established one, with markets, lunch in the square featuring mushroom dishes, workshops for children, and guided tours.
