The gourmet street food festival in the heart of Rovereto
The Rovereto Spring Food Festival is the spring celebration of street cuisine that transforms the center of Rovereto, in the province of Trento, into a major food truck gathering every May. Organized by the Rovereto Street Food Association, the event brings Italy's most acclaimed mobile kitchens to the city, featuring freshly prepared dishes paired with a selection of quality craft beers.
The festival unfolds in the heart of the city, spanning Largo Foibe, Via Roma, the Cortile Urbano, and Via Tartarotti. The Cortile Urbano serves as the hub for families and live concerts, while the streets are lined with trucks showcasing their specialties. An information point on Via Roma provides visitors with details on the participating food trucks and the event schedule.
The culinary offerings are a journey through Italy's regions: flavors from Tuscany, Veneto, Lazio, Calabria, Marche, and Lombardy meet international specialties. There is something for every palate, from pizza to seafood, and gourmet sandwiches to vegetarian and vegan options, all accompanied by a selection of craft beers.
Every evening is brought to life by live concerts and DJ sets, making the festival a true celebration as well as a culinary destination. Activities for children, such as traveling workshops, round out a program designed for a wide audience and families alike.
The Rovereto Spring Food Festival is now a fixed appointment in the Rovereto spring calendar and is part of the rich event schedule of the Municipality of Rovereto and the Vallagarina valley, in Trentino-Alto Adige. With its free-entry format and historic city center location, it is the perfect opportunity to combine a stroll through town with the pleasure of fine street food.
The Rovereto Spring Food Festival 2026 brought the city center to life from Thursday, May 9 to Sunday, May 12, with a selection of gourmet food trucks, craft beer, and a live music program.
