Roseto Junior Fest

A white night tailored for children

The Roseto Junior Fest is the summer highlight that the Municipality of Roseto degli Abruzzi, on the Teramo coast in Abruzzo, dedicates entirely to children and families. Known as "The Children's White Night," the event transforms the city's tourist heart—the central seafront and Via Thaulero—into a sprawling open-air park of games, shows, and wonder for one night. Starting at 9:00 PM, the city streets fill with lights, colors, and smiles, with a route designed to make every child the star of the show.

Roving performances and themed stations

Street artists and performers move along the seafront, guiding the audience from one stop to the next: spectacular stilt walkers, the Toy Band with its costumed musicians, a lady filling the air with soap bubbles, and a giant Mickey Mouse ready for photos and hugs. The route is enriched by six themed stations:

• the Princess Castle;
• Cinderella's Carriage;
• the illusionist and magic area;
• professional face painting;
• the traditional games area;
• spaces dedicated to local associations and bookstores.

There is also a high-quality market, organized in collaboration with Confesercenti and Coldiretti, combining craftsmanship, local products, and an evening stroll.

The main stage and the grand finale

The beating heart of the evening is the stage set up in Piazza della Pineta Celommi, where entertainment, dancing, and moments of great audience engagement take place. The festival culminates in an overwhelming finale: a DJ set and foam party that gets both adults and children dancing in an explosion of music and joy.

The Blue Flag, a source of local pride

Every year, the Roseto Junior Fest is linked to an institutional moment of great value for the city: the official presentation ceremony of the Blue Flag, the prestigious international award that certifies the quality of the beaches and waters of Roseto degli Abruzzi and the Municipality's constant commitment to environmental sustainability. Combining the children's festival with the Blue Flag celebration highlights the identity of one of the most appreciated seaside resorts on the Abruzzo Adriatic coast.

An event for the whole family
