About Roseto d'aMare

Roseto d'aMare is the music festival of Roseto degli Abruzzi, in the province of Teramo, dedicated to great classical music and jazz. Now in its fifth edition in 2026, it has evolved into a year-round program of sixteen free-admission concerts, held from January to December across the Villa Comunale, the Montepagano Museum, and the historic squares of Roseto, Montepagano, and Cologna Paese, in Abruzzo.

Roseto d'aMare: classical and jazz music in the heart of Abruzzo

Roseto d'aMare is the music festival of the Municipality of Roseto degli Abruzzi, a coastal town in the province of Teramo, Abruzzo. Launched in the summer of 2021, the festival has grown year after year to become one of the most anticipated cultural events in the Teramo area, blending great classical music with jazz, opera, and tango. In 2026, the event takes a leap forward: it evolves from a summer festival into a full year-round program accompanying the city and its historic villages for all twelve months.

Sixteen free-admission concerts

The 2026 edition, the fifth, features sixteen free concerts scheduled from January to December. An ambitious cultural project that brings live music to fascinating locations: the Villa Comunale and the Salone di Villa Paris in Roseto, the Montepagano Museum, and the village squares—Piazza del Municipio in Montepagano, Piazza Guido Rossa in Cologna Paese, and Piazza della Repubblica on the Roseto seafront. The artistic direction is entrusted to Maestros Daniele Falasca, Algino Battistini, and Paolo D'Agostino, while the festival patrons are Bruno Petrini and Barbara Bellachioma.

A program of classical, jazz, opera, and tango

The program ranges from solo piano to string quartets, from signature jazz to opera, and even tributes to the cinema of Ennio Morricone and the tango of Astor Piazzolla. Each concert highlights artists from the Abruzzo region alongside nationally renowned performers, offering the public high-level musical experiences completely free of charge. In August, the festival also collaborates with the prestigious "Duchi d'Acquaviva" International Festival of Atri, enriching the schedule with additional performances.

Widespread culture between Roseto and its villages

Roseto d'aMare is promoted by the Municipality of Roseto degli Abruzzi together with the Associazione Vecchio Borgo di Montepagano ETS, with the support of the Province of Teramo and the Abruzzo Region. The festival was born with the goal of enhancing not only the city center and its famous seafront but also the hilltop villages like Montepagano and Cologna Paese, bringing their historic spaces back to life through music. A model of widespread culture that combines tourism, tradition, and high artistic quality, making Roseto degli Abruzzi a musical destination all year round.
