Teramo's multidisciplinary summer festival featuring music, theatre, cinema, and sports
Teramo Natura Indomita is the summer festival promoted by the Municipality of Teramo, the capital of the province of the same name in Abruzzo. Established in the early 2000s, it has become the defining event of the city's summer season. For approximately eighty days between July and September, a packed calendar of events brings the historic center and the Davide De Carolis River Park, along the Tordino River, to life.
The hallmark of Natura Indomita is its widespread and multidisciplinary nature. Rather than a single large event, it features dozens of appointments covering diverse genres and audiences:
The beating heart of the festival is Piazza Martiri della Libertà, Teramo's living room, which hosts the most anticipated concerts. The Davide De Carolis River Park provides the setting for large open-air events, DJ sets, and music festivals, while theatres, churches, and smaller squares host more intimate and experimental performances.
Organized by the Municipality of Teramo in collaboration with ACS Abruzzo Molise, the Tercas Foundation, and other local entities, Natura Indomita is much more than a schedule: it is how Teramo tells its story in the summer, alternating big names capable of drawing crowds from across Abruzzo and beyond with community initiatives involving associations, Pro Loco groups, and citizens. Over the years, the festival has hosted top-tier artists and dedicated entire editions to symbolic figures of the region, such as the Teramo-born singer-songwriter Ivan Graziani.
The 2026 edition of Teramo Natura Indomita brings the Municipality of Teramo's major summer festival back to the city, spanning the historic center and the Davide De Carolis River Park. The first major confirmed name is Riccardo Cocciante, who will perform his only Abruzzo date of his tour.
As every year, the full festival program, including other concerts, shows, open-air cinema, and sports and family initiatives, will be unveiled progressively in the months leading up to summer.
Tickets available online via CiaoTickets and Ticketone and at the offices of the Società della Musica e del Teatro "Primo Riccitelli" (presales open from February 13, 2026). Concert realized with the support of the Tercas Foundation.
The full program for the 2026 edition — featuring other concerts, theatrical performances, open-air cinema, and sports events spread between the historic center and the River Park — will be announced on the official Municipality of Teramo and Teramo Natura Indomita channels in the weeks leading up to summer.
Events mainly take place in Piazza Martiri della Libertà (historic center) and at the Davide De Carolis River Park in Teramo (64100), Abruzzo.
Teramo is accessible by car via the A24 motorway (Teramo exit) and from the A14 via the junction. The Teramo railway station is connected to the Adriatic line; numerous regional buses link the city with Pescara, L'Aquila, and the coast.
Many events offer free admission; major concerts (such as Riccardo Cocciante on July 26, 2026) are ticketed, with tickets available online via CiaoTickets and Ticketone, as well as at authorized sales points.
The updated program is available on the Municipality of Teramo's website and the official Teramo Natura Indomita social media channels.
