The Christmas in Pineto program features over twenty-five events designed to engage residents, families, and visitors, spread not only across the center but throughout all the districts and hamlets: from Scerne to Mutignano, from Villa Ardente to Borgo Santa Maria.

Pineto On Ice, the seaside skating rink

The most popular attraction is Pineto On Ice, an ice skating rink set up between Via Milano and Piazza della Libertà, widely considered one of the largest and most charming on the Abruzzo coast. Skating just steps from the sea, surrounded by festive lights and holiday cheer, has become a staple for all ages, with hours tailored to families throughout the school holidays.

Concerts, nativity scenes, and theater

The program blends religious tradition with cultural offerings. Local churches host a series of Christmas concerts featuring early and sacred music ensembles, while the living nativity scene and various nativity exhibitions, including the one at Villa Filiani, draw visitors from across the province. The schedule also includes theatrical performances, traditional Pineto dialect theater, tree-lighting ceremonies in the various districts, and activities for children, ranging from Santa's House to events dedicated to the Befana.
