Ciusa in Sport: A celebration of athletics at the Angolana Marina

Ciusa in Sport is a promotional event that the Municipality of Città Sant'Angelo, in the province of Pescara (Abruzzo), dedicates to the local sports scene every year. The event takes place at the Marina of Città Sant'Angelo, in the area between Via Salara and Piazza Norma Cossetto, transforming the seafront into a large open-air space where visitors can discover, practice, and try out a wide variety of disciplines.

A showcase for local clubs

The heart of the event lies in the local sports associations, which bring the day to life with exhibitions, demonstrations, and dedicated booths. Each organization presents its activities to the public, offering children and teenagers the chance to engage with sports directly and for free. Recent editions have featured nearly twenty clubs, showcasing a remarkable range of disciplines.

A day for families and youth

Ciusa in Sport was created with a clear goal: to promote physical activity among the youth and highlight the rich network of local associations. The afternoon features over two hours of continuous activity, with live performances, promotional moments on stage, and active public participation. Admission is completely free, and the atmosphere is that of a true community celebration, where sports become an opportunity for connection.

Sports and the local area

The choice of the Marina as a stage is no coincidence: the seafront of Città Sant'Angelo, overlooking the Adriatic, is one of the iconic spots of the local summer. Ciusa in Sport serves as an ideal conclusion to the summer season, fitting perfectly into the rich calendar of events organized by the Municipality from June to September. It is an event that celebrates sports, social life, and one of the most beautiful corners of the Abruzzo coast.
