Radio Norba's musical caravan ignites the summer on the Manfredonia waterfront
Road to Battiti is the traveling caravan organized by Radio Norba that tours Puglia every summer, transforming squares, waterfronts, and urban spaces into open-air stages. The Manfredonia stop, in the province of Foggia, takes place between Via del Porto and Piazzale Silvio Ferri, overlooking the Gulf, and stands as one of the most anticipated events of the city's summer season. The event serves as a live preview for TIM Battiti Live, the major musical show recorded during these stops and subsequently broadcast in prime time on Canale 5.
The formula is well-established: in the early afternoon, the village comes to life along Via del Porto with entertainment, music, games, giveaways, and partner activities, all hosted by Radio Norba's speakers and DJs who engage the crowd while they wait for the concerts. In the evening, the main stage lights up with performances by guest artists, which are filmed for the television episodes of the show. These live performances become part of the Italian summer musical narrative, with the city of Manfredonia and its waterfront providing the perfect backdrop.
One of the hallmarks of Road to Battiti is free admission: the evening is open to everyone until capacity is reached, drawing thousands of residents and tourists alike. It is a format designed for a broad audience, featuring nationally renowned pop, rap, and singer-songwriter acts, capable of bringing families, young people, and music lovers together for one big party under the stars.
For Manfredonia and the entire Gargano area, the event is more than just entertainment: the television broadcast offers a national showcase for the waterfront, the harbor, and the beauty of the local area, contributing to the region's tourism promotion. The Manfredonia stop is part of a tour that visits numerous Apulian locations throughout the summer, from Bari to Alberobello, and from Polignano a Mare to Martina Franca.
The city of Manfredonia kicked off the 2026 edition of Road to Battiti, hosting the first stop of the Radio Norba caravan on Saturday, June 13, 2026. From 6:00 PM, along Via del Porto, the public enjoyed the village atmosphere with entertainment, music, partner activities, and hosting by the Apulian station's speakers. At 9:00 PM, the Piazzale Silvio Ferri stage lit up with live performances by J-Ax and Irama, two of the most beloved artists on the Italian music scene.
The performances were filmed to be included in the television episodes of TIM Battiti Live, aired on Canale 5. The evening, with free admission until capacity was reached, marked the inauguration of a tour that visited numerous Apulian locations throughout the summer.
The event takes place between Via del Porto and Piazzale Silvio Ferri, on the Manfredonia (FG) waterfront, in Puglia.
By car: take the Foggia exit on the A14 motorway, then follow the SS89 towards Manfredonia. By train: the Manfredonia station is connected to the regional network; the nearest airport is Bari-Palese. The harbor area is within walking distance of the city center.
Free admission until capacity is reached. Entertainment and the village start in the late afternoon, with concerts in the evening. Arriving early is recommended to secure a spot.
