A widespread festival in the village of love

Piano City Vico is the widespread piano festival that brings the historic center of Vico del Gargano, in the province of Foggia, to life in the heart of the Gargano promontory. For a few days, the squares, alleys, and churches of the village—known as the "village of love" due to the cult of Saint Valentine—transform into a large open-air stage where pianos take the place of cars and music becomes the true protagonist.

The concept: music leaves the halls

Following the model of the great Italian "Piano City" events, the festival takes the instrument out of theaters and auditoriums to place it in the everyday spaces of the town: Largo del Conte, Piazza Castello, Piazzetta Terra, Piazza San Domenico, and the courtyards of historic buildings become intimate and surprising backdrops. The audience moves on foot from one concert to another, following the notes that resonate between the stone walls of the Gargano historic center, in a journey that combines listening, discovering the village, and conviviality.

A program for all ages

The lineup alternates big names and young talents, with a repertoire ranging from classical music to jazz, and from singer-songwriter tracks to contemporary sounds. Alongside the concerts, there are experimental music workshops, educational activities designed for children, and special openings of churches and monuments, allowing visitors to appreciate every corner of Vico del Gargano.

Vico del Gargano and Puglia

Included among the most beautiful villages of the Gargano, Vico del Gargano offers Piano City Vico a setting of rare charm, made of narrow alleys, stone arches, and glimpses of the Gargano National Park. The event, promoted by the Municipality of Vico del Gargano together with the company Studio360 and supported by the Puglia Region and Puglia Culture, is part of the cultural development strategy for the Gargano territory and helps to de-seasonalize tourism, bringing music and visitors to the village even outside the summer season.
