A festival to remember
The R-esistere Festival is the event that the Municipality of Druento, in the metropolitan city of Turin (Piedmont), dedicates every spring to the memory of the Resistance and the Liberation Day. Established in 2023 at the initiative of the Youth Council and the ANPI section of Druento, the festival has quickly established itself as one of the most heartfelt civic events in the area, capable of uniting local associations around a full week of widespread and free events.

The strength of the R-esistere Festival lies in its choral dimension: the program unfolds between the Druento Town Hall, the "Ipazia d'Alessandria" Civic Library, the San Sebastiano Cultural Center, the Don Cocchi parish hall, and the town's squares, particularly Piazza XXII Martiri. Concerts of folk and singer-songwriter music, historical exhibitions, live readings for children, and theatrical performances created by local students make up a calendar designed for all ages.
In past editions, the festival has hosted important names in Italian civic music, such as the Modena City Ramblers, and installations like the "Bicycles of the Resistance" exhibition curated by ANPI.
