Zero-mile flavors from the Val di Fiemme, every Monday in summer at Piazza SS. Filippo e Giacomo
The Predazzo Farmers' Market is a summer staple that brings the best of Val di Fiemme mountain agriculture to Piazza SS. Filippo e Giacomo in the town center. Every Monday morning, from early hours until noon, local producers transform the square into an authentic showcase of Trentino-Alto Adige flavors. This zero-mile market is designed to bridge the gap between growers and consumers: stalls are managed directly by the valley's farmers, breeders, and beekeepers, with no middlemen involved.
The market's selection reflects the richness of the valley's alpine environment. You will find everything from seasonal fruit and vegetables to mountain berries, artisanal jams and fruit juices, as well as local cheeses and meats. There is also a selection of trout and freshwater fish, along with eggs, honey, and beekeeping products, plus medicinal plants and organic goods. Shopping here means taking home the purity of the mountains, with flavors and aromas that are strictly zero-mile.
One of the hallmarks of the Predazzo Farmers' Market is the direct relationship between producer and customer. The farmers, beekeepers, and breeders of the Val di Fiemme offer what they grow, raise, and process, sharing stories of small family businesses and offering tips on how to best use each product. Supported by the local agricultural supply chain, this initiative celebrates the work of producers and the agricultural tradition of the mountains, offering a slow and conscious shopping experience.
Set in the center of Predazzo, a town in the province of Trento at the foot of the Dolomites, the market is beloved by both locals and tourists vacationing in the valley. The setting of Piazza SS. Filippo e Giacomo, overlooking the peaks of the Latemar and the Pale di San Martino, adds charm to a morning of shopping in touch with the flavors of Trentino-Alto Adige. It is the perfect opportunity to combine exploring the town with a gastronomic experience that celebrates the agriculture of the Fiemme valley.
The market is held every Monday during the summer, in the morning. For the 2026 edition, appointments are scheduled from June 15th to September 14th, every Monday morning from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, in Piazza SS. Filippo e Giacomo.
