Poz Fest, the heart of summer in Preore

Poz Fest is one of the most deeply rooted and long-standing country festivals in the Giudicarie Valleys, in Trentino-Alto Adige. For over fifty years, it has marked the beginning of the summer season in Preore, a village in the municipality of Tre Ville, specifically at Parco al Poz, the green area in the Isolo locality that gives the festival its name. For many valley residents, it is a cherished memory spanning generations: those who are forty today remember the evenings at the Poz from their youth, and the event still attracts families, young people, and dance enthusiasts from across the entire Giudicarie region.

An organization powered by volunteers

The festival is entirely conceived and managed by the Pro Loco of Preore, led by president Valentina Rossaro. Behind the two evenings lies the hard work of about sixty young volunteers who handle the kitchen, bar service, setup, and hospitality. Parking is managed by the volunteer firefighters, confirming how the entire community of Preore rallies around this event. Attention to detail and, above all, the quality of the cuisine have always been the true hallmarks of Poz Fest.

Two evenings, two spirits

The Poz Fest formula alternates tradition with late-night fun. The first evening is dedicated to ballroom dancing, with an orchestra providing the music in a convivial and family-friendly setting; the evening is accompanied by a German-inspired menu featuring spit-roasted chicken, salmon trout fillet, sausages, and sauerkraut, all washed down with unfiltered Weizen beer. The second evening changes pace: after a dinner with an American theme—featuring burgers, barbecue pork ribs, hot dogs, nuggets, and fries—the Poz Party begins, a dance party with DJs playing modern music until late at night.

More than just a concert or a dance night, Poz Fest is a collective ritual that blends mountain gastronomy, music, and the community spirit typical of Trentino festivals. The kitchen, set up outdoors in the green park, offers hearty and authentic dishes ranging from Central European traditions to more casual, youth-oriented options. Admission is free, and the atmosphere remains that of a genuine, welcoming village festival where neighbors and friends come together.
