Pineto in Musica is one of the longest-running and most beloved festivals of the summer in Pineto, a town on the Teramo coast in the province of Teramo, in the Abruzzo region. Now in its 23rd edition, the event brings live music to the streets of the town center every Thursday evening throughout June and July, establishing itself as a signature experience for both residents and tourists vacationing on the Adriatic coast.

Live Music at Villa Ardente

The heart of the festival is Villa Ardente, in the Corfù district, which comes alive every week with concerts and performances starting at 9:30 PM. The shows span a variety of genres, from pop to singer-songwriter sets, cover bands, and local artists, with a program designed for a broad and diverse audience. The widespread format also involves the streets and squares of the center, where music intertwines with evening strolls, local bars, and shops, enlivening the town until late at night.

A Tradition of Pineto Merchants

The festival is promoted and organized by the Pineto Merchants and Artisans Association, which has curated the initiative for over twenty years as a way to enhance the local community and attract tourism. Pineto in Musica began as a celebration of the town and its shops, and over the years, it has become a symbol of the Pineto summer, successfully combining local commerce with free cultural entertainment.

Pineto in Musica is part of the extensive summer calendar of the Municipality of Pineto, known as Pineto Summer, which features over one hundred events distributed from June to the end of September across Pineto, Scerne, Mutignano, and Borgo Santa Maria. Alongside the musical Thursdays, the program includes sunrise concerts at the Torre di Cerrano, family shows, literary festivals, and major musical events, all designed to showcase the entire municipal territory.
