CorriCerignola is the road running race that transforms the streets of Cerignola, in the province of Foggia, into a 10-kilometre course for hundreds of runners every year. Reaching its eighteenth edition in 2025, the event is organised by the A.S.D. Podistica Santo Stefano Cerignola, a historic Capitanata running club affiliated with FIDAL, and has become a staple of the city's sporting calendar.

A 10 km route through the city streets

The competitive race follows a 10-kilometre urban loop, starting and finishing in front of the Palazzetto dello Sport on Viale dei Mandorli. The route winds through numerous arteries of Cerignola, covering the city's main streets and avenues, offering athletes a fast, flat course that is perfect for testing personal bests. The race traditionally starts at 9:30 am on Sunday.

Competition and provincial circuits

CorriCerignola is more than just a local race: it is part of the Capitanata provincial running circuits and attracts clubs and registered athletes from all over Puglia, with categories ranging from Allievi (Youth) to Master, for both men and women. Alongside the competitive event, there is plenty of space for younger runners and those who want to experience the day as a moment of celebration and participation, in an atmosphere that combines sport, socialising, and local promotion.
