Antiques, collectibles, and retro finds in the streets of a Madonie village
The Petralia Soprana Vintage Market is a new summer event that brings the historic center of one of Sicily's most charming villages to life. Located in the municipality of Petralia Soprana, in the Province of Palermo, at an altitude of over a thousand meters in the heart of the Madonie Park, the event transforms the ancient stone alleys into a trail of stalls dedicated to antiques, collectibles, and retro items.
Exhibitors from various parts of Sicily offer a diverse selection of items that tell stories of the past, delighting enthusiasts and curious visitors alike:
Recognized as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy" and crowned "Borgo dei Borghi" (Village of Villages), Petralia Soprana provides the ideal setting for a market of this kind: churches, historic palaces, panoramic viewpoints over the Madonie, and a maze of alleys that invite a slow, leisurely stroll. The market becomes an opportunity to discover or rediscover the village, blending the pleasure of hunting for a vintage piece with a visit to the town's rich historical and artistic heritage.
Organized by the Pro Loco of Petralia Soprana with the patronage of the Municipality and the support of local associations, the Vintage Market is part of a summer calendar of events that highlight the village and its traditions, starting with the "Romantic Night of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy." For updated information, please contact the organizers or consult the village's official channels.
The Petralia Soprana Vintage Market launches in the summer of 2026 with three events in the historic center of the Madonie village:
The streets of the historic center host stalls with antiques, collectibles, vintage clothing, books, crafts, and curiosities, presented by exhibitors from across Sicily. The event, organized by the Pro Loco with the patronage of the Municipality of Petralia Soprana, is accompanied by local gastronomic specialties.

Petralia Soprana is located in the Madonie Park, in the Province of Palermo. By car, it can be reached from the A19 Palermo-Catania motorway (exit Tre Monzelli or Irosa) by following the signs for the Madonie. The nearest train station is Castellana-Sicula/Polizzi, which is connected to the village by local buses.
Admission to the market, set up along the streets of the historic center, is free.
We recommend wearing comfortable shoes for walking on the cobblestones and taking advantage of the visit to discover the village's churches and viewpoints. There are bars, restaurants, and accommodation facilities in the Madonie area near the historic center.
