Summer nights in the Gargano village featuring music, street performers, and late-night shopping
The Peschici White Night is one of the most deeply rooted events of the Gargano summer. Reaching its tenth, eleventh, and twelfth editions in 2026, the festival transforms the historic center of the villageโa maze of white alleys overlooking the Adriatic Seaโinto a long path of music, shows, and gatherings that keeps residents and tourists company until late at night. No longer just streets between houses and shops, but a continuous sequence of open-air stages that bring the entire town to life.
The heart of the White Night is its roaming nature: performances are not concentrated in one place but spread across the squares, alleys, and balconies of the historic center. From 10:00 PM, the public can move freely between live sets, DJ sets, and street performers, who take center stage with theatrical and circus acts that move from corner to corner. Musical experiences alternate within the village's natural scenery, while shops and businesses remain open until late in the evening and some churches open their doors for evening visits.
Peschici, in the province of Foggia, is one of the iconic villages of the Gargano coast in Apulia. The White Night is part of the "L'Estate Addosso" summer calendar promoted by the Municipality of Peschici, which gathers dozens of events from June to September with the aim of enhancing the social, cultural, and commercial heritage of the area. The event is organized by the municipal administration together with local businesses and VAT holders, with the support of the Local Police, Carabinieri, and Civil Protection.
The White Night is the ideal opportunity to discover Peschici in a different light: the cool evening air, the scent of the sea, the lights in the alleys, and a festive atmosphere that engages both adults and children. A free event accessible to everyone, designed for both locals and the many tourists who flock to the Gargano during the summer months.
The 2026 edition of the Peschici White Night is split into three evenings: Thursday, July 9 (10th edition, the first of the summer), Thursday, July 30 (11th edition), and Thursday, August 27 (12th edition). On all three occasions, the event starts from 10:00 PM and brings the historic center of the Gargano village to life.
The program includes numerous musical experiences with live performances and DJ sets, street performers with roaming theatrical and circus shows, a play area and entertainment for children in Piazza Pertini, and the gastronomic initiative Ciambellando, with local women busy preparing traditional sweets and specialties. Shops and churches remain open until late at night. The event is organized by the Municipality of Peschici together with local businesses, as part of the "L'Estate Addosso" summer festival.
Peschici can be reached by car via the SS89 Garganica; the nearest train station is Peschici-Calenella (Ferrovie del Gargano line), connected to San Severo and Foggia. The nearest airport is Bari.
Events start at 10:00 PM and continue until late at night throughout the historic center.
Free entry. During the evening, shops and businesses remain open until late.
During the summer months, the historic center is very crowded: it is advisable to park in areas outside the village and walk to the heart of the event. Comfortable shoes are recommended for navigating the alleys and stairways.
