The Apricena Christmas White Night

The Christmas White Night is one of the most anticipated events in the winter calendar of Apricena, a town in the Province of Foggia at the gateway to the Gargano in Apulia. Every year, in the heart of the Advent season, the town center dresses up in lights and comes alive until late at night for a grand, free popular festival designed for families, children, and visitors of all ages.

Corso Roma, an open-air stage

The heart of the event is Corso Roma, the main street of the town, which for one evening turns into a long path of shows and wonders. Along the street and in the nearby Piazzale San Francesco d'Assisi, there are luminous parades, dance and circus performances, street artist exhibitions, and Christmas mascots entertaining the little ones. There is no shortage of rides and inflatables, while live music and DJ sets provide the soundtrack for the evening.

Flavors and traditions of the Gargano

The festival is also an opportunity to discover the typical flavors of the region: food stalls offer local products and specialties of the Apricena and Gargano tradition, from Christmas sweets to savory dishes. The shops in the center stay open late, making the White Night an ideal occasion for Christmas shopping and supporting local businesses.

Part of the "È Natale per tutti" program

The White Night is the flagship event of the rich "È Natale per tutti" (Christmas for Everyone) holiday program, promoted by the Municipality of Apricena, which enlivens the city from the beginning of December until the Epiphany with concerts, food festivals, markets, and charity initiatives. The holiday calendar traditionally closes with the Befana Village, scheduled for January 6th in Piazzale San Francesco d'Assisi.

An appointment for the whole community

Supported by the municipal administration, the Christmas White Night was created with the goal of bringing life and joy to the town center, promoting local businesses, and offering residents and visitors a moment of celebration, sharing, and solidarity. An event that, edition after edition, has become one of the symbols of Christmas in the Capitanata region.
