About Parish Festival

In Grugliasco, on the outskirts of Turin, the Parish Festival is the summer event that brings together the city's five parishes around the GO Grugliasco oratory. Between Piazza and Viale Giustetti, from late afternoon onwards, the area comes alive with bouncy castles, go-karts, sports fields, street games, and a wide array of street food, with the La Boita restaurant-pizzeria open every evening. A popular, free event open to all, blending fun, great food, and community spirit.

A community celebration in the heart of Grugliasco

The Parish Festival is one of the most cherished summer events in Grugliasco, a town on the western outskirts of Turin, in Piedmont. Organized by the GO Grugliasco Oratorio association, the event unites the city's five parishes in one big popular celebration that enlivens the Piazza and Viale Giustetti area for several days, spanning the oratory and its outdoor spaces.

Two festivals in one

The event is divided into two connected parts: the San Cassiano Festival, which kicks off the celebrations, and the Parish Festival itself, which brings them to a close. The common thread is always the same: spending time together, entertaining both young and old, and raising funds for the oratory's activities through the charity stall.

Games, sports, and fun for everyone

From late afternoon, the festival comes to life with activities designed especially for children, teenagers, and families:

  • Bouncy castles for the little ones starting at 6 PM
  • Go-karts, basketball, volleyball, and soccer courts
  • Street games and evening entertainment
  • Charity stall supporting the oratory

Street food takes center stage

One of the festival's highlights is the culinary offering. From 7 PM, you can enjoy street food specialties and traditional dishes: arrosticini (lamb skewers), farinata, sandwiches, fried treats, pastries, bomboloni (filled doughnuts), and cotton candy, alongside grills serving meat, fish, and squid skewers. There is also a bar with a chiringuito set up near the go-kart track.

To complete the experience, the La Boita restaurant-pizzeria is open every evening with pizzas and special menus, including seafood and meat-based dinners that make the Parish Festival a pleasant social gathering for adults as well.

A free event open to all

Admission to the festival is free: you only pay for what you consume. It is the perfect opportunity to discover the spirit of a welcoming and vibrant community in one of the most populous areas of the Turin metropolitan region, and to spend carefree evenings enjoying good food and entertainment.
