A Spanish evening in Briga Novarese

Paella para Todos has become a highly anticipated summer fixture in Briga Novarese, a small town in the province of Novara, in lower Piedmont just a stone's throw from Lake Orta. Organized by the Pro Loco San Colombano, the event offers a dinner entirely dedicated to the flavors of Spain, designed to bring families and friends together around the table on a warm June evening.

Spanish flavors on the table

The heart of the festival is, of course, the paella, prepared by the Pro Loco chefs and served in abundance to all attendees. The menu completes this Iberian culinary journey with a rich plate of tapas, sangria, and crema catalana, the famous custard dessert with a caramelized crust. A special children's menu is available, ensuring the evening can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Live music and atmosphere

The dinner is accompanied by live music, which has always defined the event's convivial atmosphere. The sixth edition features the Pinguini Tattici Nucleari tribute band, "I Tattici Dello Zen", on stage, enlivening the evening with a repertoire that gets the audience singing and dancing between courses.

Where it takes place

The event is held in the area behind the Centro Polifunzionale, in the Prato delle Gere locality in Briga Novarese. In case of bad weather, the dinner is not cancelled but moved indoors to the adjacent Centro Polifunzionale gymnasium, ensuring the event goes ahead regardless of weather conditions.

A community celebration

Like many initiatives by Piedmontese pro loco associations, Paella para Todos is first and foremost a moment of gathering for the community of Briga Novarese and neighboring towns. Its proven formula of great food, music, and outdoor conviviality has quickly made it one of the most appreciated gastronomic evenings on the local summer calendar, bringing a touch of Spain to the Novara area.
