The Casale Corte Cerro Farmers' Market is a new and highly anticipated event for the Cusio territory, located in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Piedmont. Inaugurated on March 14, 2026, it is the first structured farmers' market in the area: an initiative promoted by the Casale Corte Cerro Municipal Administration to give visibility to local producers and offer citizens the chance to buy genuine, short-supply-chain products directly from the growers.

Where and when

The market takes place in the hamlet of Ramate, in Piazza XXV Aprile, in the square located in front of the local club and playground. It is a fixed appointment: every second Saturday of the month, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. This monthly cadence follows the rhythm of the seasons and local production throughout the year.

The protagonists are about ten local farms, offering their produce based on the principles of short supply chains and zero-kilometre sourcing. The stalls feature local excellence defined by seasonality: the beauty of a farmers' market lies in discovering, month after month, exactly what the Cusio countryside has to offer at that specific time of year.
