The Creative Markets on the Lesa Lakefront are not just a single event, but a full-scale series that accompanies the town of Lesa, on the Piedmontese shore of Lake Maggiore in the Province of Novara, from spring through late autumn. Along the promenade bordering the water, exhibitors' stalls are set up amidst greenery and lake views, transforming the town center into a small craft village for the day.
Organizers and offerings
The series is curated by the La Corte dei Creativi association in collaboration with Lesa Web Radio and supported by the Municipality of Lesa. The focus is on hobbyists and creative artisans: handmade items, costume jewelry, decorations, small-batch products, and gift ideas. Each edition features a specific theme that guides the exhibitors' offerings and the decoration of the lakefront.
Seasonal themes
The calendar alternates between holiday-related events and themed markets. Confirmed dates for the 2026 season from the official Lesa municipal calendar include:
- "Waiting for Easter" — the market that kicks off the season in spring;
- "Liberation Day" — the event on April 25th;
- "Flower Theme" — dedicated to spring and May Day;
- "Sea Theme" — in collaboration with Canottieri Lesa;
- "Notes on the Lake" — an evening market paired with live music by Lesa Web Radio.
Some events take place during the day (generally from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM), while others adopt an evening format, with the lakefront illuminated and musical accompaniment. In recent years, the series has concluded in winter with a Christmas Market dedicated to festive atmospheres.

What makes these markets special is the setting: the Lesa lakefront is one of the most beloved viewpoints on the Novara side of Lake Maggiore, with views across the water toward the Lombardy shore. Visiting the market means combining artisanal shopping with a walk by the lake, perhaps paired with a stop at one of the cafes overlooking the water. The events are also part of a busy local summer calendar, including concerts, literary presentations, and food festivals organized by local groups.

The official calendar of the Municipality of Lesa confirms a rich series of events on the lakefront for 2026, each with its own theme:
- Sunday, March 29 (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) — "Waiting for Easter" markets, the season opener;
- Saturday, April 25 (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) — "Liberation Day" markets;
- Friday, May 1 (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) — "Flower Theme" markets;
- Sunday, June 7 (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) — "Sea Theme" markets, in collaboration with Canottieri Lesa;
- Saturday, June 20 (from 6:00 PM) — "Notes on the Lake" markets, evening version with music by Lesa Web Radio.
The series continues in the following months with further themed events, up to the traditional market dedicated to Christmas atmospheres. The calendar is subject to updates.

Location
Lesa lakefront, in the town center (28040 Lesa, Province of Novara, Piedmont). The stalls are arranged along the promenade overlooking Lake Maggiore.
When
The series consists of multiple events from March to autumn. Daytime markets are generally held from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM; some events follow an evening format (from 6:00 PM onwards). Dates are subject to change: it is advisable to check the updated calendar before traveling.
How to get there
By car: Lesa can be reached via the A26 motorway (Meina or Arona exit). By train: the Lesa station is on the Domodossola–Milan line, just a short walk from the lakefront. Admission to the markets is free.
