The Notte Bianca of Vico del Gargano is one of the most cherished events of the Gargano summer. For one full night, the historic center of Vico del Gargano, in the heart of the province of Foggia, Puglia, turns into a massive open-air stage: the squares, alleys, courtyards, and open spaces of the ancient village light up with music, lights, and aromas, as residents, tourists, and visitors fill the streets until late at night.

One of Italy's most beautiful villages

Vico del Gargano, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy and known as the "village of love" for its evocative Vicolo del Bacio (Kiss Alley), provides a unique setting for the event. The maze of stone houses, ancient portals, and viewpoints overlooking the Foresta Umbra serves as a natural backdrop for a widespread festival that celebrates the historical and landscape heritage of the Gargano village.

Music, shows, and flavors

Under the artistic direction of Francesco Angelicchio and Niza, the Notte Bianca offers a rich and varied program that weaves together multiple forms of expression:

• Live music with bands and performances on stages set up in the main squares;
• DJ sets that keep the night alive until the early hours;
• Street performances and busking through the alleys of the historic center;
• Street food and traditional culinary offerings, featuring the flavors of the Gargano.

Part of the Estate Vichese

The Notte Bianca is a highlight of the Estate Vichese 2026, a calendar of 79 events spread across Vico del Gargano, San Menaio, Calenella, and the Foresta Umbra, which in 2026 also celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Estate Teatrale Vichese. During these same weeks, the town hosts big names in Italian music and numerous theater, tradition, and culture events, making August in Vico one of the most vibrant periods in the Gargano calendar.

Scheduled for the night of August 12, 2026, the Notte Bianca has now reached its 20th edition: a milestone that confirms the event's role as a well-established tradition of the Vico del Gargano summer.
