When autumn colors the woods of Montefeltro, Sant'Angelo in Vado becomes the truffle capital. The National Exhibition of the Prized White Truffle of the Marche is the oldest event of its kind in the region and one of the longest-running in Italy: founded in 1964, it is considered the second most important nationally after the one in Alba, Piedmont. For the public, it's an opportunity to discover the precious Tuber magnatum pico live, harvested in the oak and hazelnut woods surrounding this village in the province of Pesaro and Urbino.
