Monterosa Gourmand is the food and wine festival held in Champoluc, the main village in the municipality of Ayas, in the Val d'Ayas (Aosta province). For one day, the village center comes alive with an open-air gastronomic trail that focuses on local zero-kilometer products and the creativity of Aosta Valley cuisine, all framed by the peaks of Monte Rosa.

The stars of the event are a selection of Aosta Valley chefs and local producers, who offer dishes prepared with local ingredients. Alongside the food stands, there is an artisan market showcasing the creations and excellences of the valley. How it Works
The format is quality street food: upon entering, you purchase tokens, which are vouchers to be freely spent at the stands to choose what to taste. It's an informal and convivial format, ideal for discovering the typical products of the Val d'Ayas – alpine cheeses, cured meats, honeys, mountain desserts – and how local chefs interpret them. Monterosa Gourmand is now an eagerly awaited event of the summer season in Ayas.

The 2026 edition of Monterosa Gourmand is scheduled for Sunday, August 30, 2026, in the center of Champoluc (Ayas). The village hosts an open-air gastronomic trail featuring a selection of Aosta Valley chefs and local producers, who offer dishes made with zero-kilometer ingredients. Alongside the tasting stands, there is an artisan market showcasing the valley's specialties and live music. How to Get There
Champoluc is the main hamlet of Ayas, in the Val d'Ayas (Aosta Valley). By car from the A5 motorway, take the Verrès exit and drive up the valley. The event takes place in the village center.
