About Pinerolo Minor Antiques Market

A full Sunday dedicated to minor antiques, vintage items, and collectibles among the arcades and squares of Pinerolo's historic center, in the province of Turin. Over 200 hobbyists and exhibitors bring the streets and squares to life with furniture, vintage objects, prints, coins, postcards, books, and curiosities of all kinds. The May event, reaching its 42nd edition in 2026, is one of the most anticipated dates for enthusiasts in the Pinerolo area: free admission, from early morning until sunset.

A historic event in the heart of Pinerolo

The Minor Antiques and Collectibles Market is one of the longest-running and most beloved events in Pinerolo, a city in the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont. Established in 1984 under the arcades of the historic center, the exhibition has evolved over the years into a regular biannual appointment, attracting antiques enthusiasts and curious visitors from across the province and beyond.

What to find at the market

The market is dedicated to minor antiques and collectibles, managed by hobbyists holding regional permits verified on-site. Strolling among the stalls, you can discover small furniture, vintage objects, prints and paintings, ceramics, coins and stamps, postcards, used books, vinyl records, vintage toys, and all sorts of collectible curiosities. It is the ideal place for those looking for a unique piece, a rare find, or simply the authentic atmosphere of a market from days gone by.

Where it takes place

The event occupies the historic center of Pinerolo, winding under the arcades and along the main pedestrian and limited-traffic streets and squares:

  • Piazza San Donato
  • Via del Duomo and Via Savoia
  • Piazza Facta and Piazza Verdi
  • Via Trento and Via del Pino

With over 200 spaces available for hobbyists and exhibitors, the market transforms the city's living room into a large open-air exhibition for the entire day.

The two annual editions

The event is held twice a year: on the first Sunday of May and the last Sunday of September. The spring edition in May kicks off the season and coincides with the city's awakening, offering a day of strolling, discovery, and open-air shopping. The event takes place even in case of bad weather.

Pinerolo and its surroundings

At the foot of the Waldensian Valleys and at the entrance to the Chisone Valley, Pinerolo is a city rich in history, known for its medieval historic center, its cavalry tradition, and a vibrant cultural scene. The Minor Antiques Market fits into this context as an opportunity to experience the city center, combining a passion for collecting with the discovery of the heritage of the Municipality of Pinerolo and the surrounding area.
