The autumn gathering for antique and collectible lovers in the historic center of Pinerolo
The Minor Antiques and Collectibles Market is one of the longest-running and most beloved events in Pinerolo, a city in the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont. Established in 1984 under the porticoes of the historic center, the fair is organized by the Municipality of Pinerolo on a biannual basis: the spring edition on the first Sunday of May and the autumn edition on the last Sunday of September. The September event closes the season, when the still-mild days invite visitors to stroll among the stalls in search of unique finds.
The market is dedicated to minor antiques and collectibles, managed by hobbyists holding regional permits. Among the stalls, you can discover small furniture, vintage items, prints and paintings, ceramics, coins and stamps, postcards, used books, vinyl records, vintage toys, and all sorts of collectible curiosities. It is the ideal place for those looking for an elusive bargain, an original gift, or simply the authentic atmosphere of an old-fashioned market.
The event occupies the historic center of Pinerolo, winding under the porticoes and along the main pedestrian and limited-traffic streets and squares:
With over 170 spots for hobbyists and exhibitors, the market transforms the city's living room into a large open-air trail for an entire day.
The event is held twice a year: on the first Sunday of May and the last Sunday of September. The autumn edition is particularly appreciated as it coincides with the return from holidays and the resumption of city life, offering a Sunday of strolling, discovery, and open-air shopping. The event takes place even in case of bad weather.
At the foot of the Waldensian Valleys and at the entrance to the Chisone Valley, Pinerolo is a city rich in history, known for its medieval historic center, its cavalry tradition, and a lively cultural scene. The Minor Antiques Market fits into this context as an opportunity to experience the heart of the Municipality of Pinerolo and the Pinerolese area, combining a passion for collecting with the discovery of the city's heritage.
The 2026 autumn edition, the 43rd, is scheduled for Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM in the historic center of Pinerolo.
The market will occupy the porticoes and the main city streets and squares โ Piazza San Donato, Via del Duomo, Via Savoia, Piazza Facta, Via Trento, Piazza Verdi, and Via del Pino โ with over 170 spots available for hobbyists and exhibitors. On display will be minor antiques, collectibles, vintage items, prints, coins, postcards, and all kinds of curiosities.
Admission for the public is free. The event takes place even in case of bad weather.
