In Osasco, a small town in the Province of Turin nestled in the Pinerolo area, the Patronal Festival is the most anticipated event of the year. The festival is dedicated to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the town's patron saint, whose liturgical feast falls on September 8th. A festival for the whole village

The event is organized by the Osasco Pro Loco, with the significant support of the Pro Giovani association. The program typically spans an entire week, with the heart of the festivities concentrated on the weekend closest to September 8th. The food and wine stalls offer traditional Piedmontese dishes, from gnocco fritto to the classic fritto misto alla piemontese, served in large marquees with tables open to everyone.

What to expect

• The corsa dei dübi — a running race and walk of about 5 kilometers along the village streets; "dübi" is the term historically used to refer to the inhabitants of Osasco, and it is now the identity symbol of the festival.
• Live music and DJ sets — evenings featuring bands and tribute acts (in recent years, for example, tributes to 90s music), dancing, and entertainment until late.
• Bocce tournaments — played in teams of four or pairs, open to everyone, in the true spirit of a Piedmontese village.
• Games and workshops for children, library activities, and cultural moments such as book presentations.
• Vintage car and motorcycle rallies, with events dedicated to MINI and Vespa enthusiasts.
