The Marina di Pisa seafront transforms into a massive open-air dance floor
The Marina Dance Parade has become a staple of the summer in Marina di Pisa, the seaside district of the Municipality of Pisa located at the mouth of the Arno River, in the heart of the Tuscan coast. For one evening, usually in July, the town's seafront and squares turn into a massive, free, open-air dance floor, attracting thousands of visitors from across the province and beyond.
The format that has made the event so successful features three themed stages spread along the seafront, each with its own musical identity:
In total, over twenty national and international DJs perform, making the Marina Dance Parade one of the most popular dance music events on the Tuscan coast.
Around the stages, the seafront comes alive with a vibrant Food Truck Village, aperitifs, and street food, turning the evening into a widespread party throughout the town's streets. The event is part of the Marenia โ Not Just Sea summer program, which brings life to Marina di Pisa, Tirrenia, and Calambrone throughout the summer season.
Created to promote the coastline and local businesses, the Marina Dance Parade is organized by Confcommercio Province of Pisa, with the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Northwest Tuscany and the patronage of the Municipality of Pisa. Over the years, it has become a showcase for Marina di Pisa and a symbol of summer on the Pisan coast, blending sea, music, and fun.
The 2026 edition of the Marina Dance Parade is scheduled for Friday, July 10, 2026, on the seafront of Marina di Pisa. The event confirms its identity as a massive, free, open-air dance party, with stages distributed across the town's squares and a rich array of street food and aperitifs.
The detailed program and the complete DJ line-up for the 2026 edition will be announced in the weeks preceding the event, typically on the official channels of the festival.
Based on previous editions, the evening is structured around three themed stages along the seafront: the main stage in Piazza Baleari dedicated to electronic and techno music, the Piazza Viviani stage featuring 90s dance revival, and a third stage with 360-degree selections. Dozens of national and international DJs are expected, along with a street food area along the town's streets.
