Mani im_pasta: Taste and Music in Oria

Mani im_pasta is the food and wine festival that brings the Campo Sportivo Comunale in Oria to life during the height of summer, right in the heart of the Alto Salento area in the province of Brindisi. Established in 2018 through a collaboration between GustOria and the Insieme Possiamo association, the event blends traditional Apulian cuisine, live music, and entertainment for all ages over three unforgettable nights.

Oria, a Gem of the Alto Salento

The town of Oria, in Apulia, is a place of immense historical charm, dominated by the imposing Swabian Castle commissioned by Frederick II and awarded the Orange Flag by the Touring Club. In this setting, Mani im_pasta invites both locals and visitors to gather outdoors in a convivial atmosphere that celebrates the gastronomic identity of the Salento region.

The Tastings

The heart of the festival lies in its food stalls, where simple, genuine, and traditional Apulian cuisine takes center stage. Highlights include:

• the famous orecchiette and handmade pasta, the true symbols of the event;
• typical local products and traditional Salento peasant dishes;
• a selection of wines and beers to perfectly complement the tastings.

Concerts and Shows

Each evening ignites with live concerts, performances, and entertainment. Over the years, the Mani im_pasta stage has hosted Italian pop artists and tribute bands, followed late into the night by DJ sets that keep the party going until the early hours. There is also a dedicated area for children with games and activities.

Mani im_pasta has established itself as one of the most popular festivals of the Oria summer. With free entry, shuttle services, and parking available, the event is accessible to the entire community and tourists vacationing in Salento. The 2026 Edition
