A night of flavors in the heart of Peschici

The Local Flavors Festival is the food and wine event that lights up Piazza Sandro Pertini, in the center of Peschici, overlooking the stunning Gargano coastline in the province of Foggia. The event transforms the heart of the village into a tasting trail dedicated to local specialties, accompanied by musical entertainment and festivities that bring together residents and visitors alike.

The event is promoted by the Green Forte Association with the support of the Municipality of Peschici and is part of the rich spring calendar "Benedetta Primavera", a series of events guiding the Gargano village toward the summer season. Held at the end of May, the Local Flavors Festival is designed to open the June 2nd long weekend, drawing those who choose Peschici for their first taste of summer to the square.

Tastings, music, and tradition

At the heart of the evening are the tastings of local specialties: a true culinary experience that celebrates local cuisine and typical Gargano products, in line with the Italian culinary tradition recognized as an intangible cultural heritage. Alongside the flavors, musical entertainment accompanies the audience throughout the evening, contributing to the convivial atmosphere of the square.

As noted by the municipal administration, the festival represents a moment of identity for the Peschici community and an opportunity to rediscover and showcase the richness of the area's excellence and quality products to guests.

Peschici and the Gargano
