The Levico Terme Harp Festival is a musical event that, every year between late August and early September, places the harp at the center of cultural life in Levico Terme, an elegant thermal town in the Valsugana valley, in the Province of Trento. Born around the figure of harpist and teacher Roberta Alessandrini from the "Bonporti" Conservatory of Trento, the festival combines high-level masterclasses with a calendar of public concerts, all with free admission.

Masterclasses and advanced training

The educational core of the event is the harp and chamber music masterclass held by Professor Roberta Alessandrini. For six days, young harpists from various Italian regions work on solo and chamber repertoire, receiving individual guidance and working in small groups. The study program concludes with a public performance by the students, allowing the audience to enjoy the fruits of their week of work.

Concerts in the setting of the Palazzo delle Terme

Alongside the educational aspect, the festival offers a series of concerts in the town's most evocative locations: the historic halls of the Palazzo delle Terme and the natural amphitheater of the Habsburg Park, a botanical jewel commissioned during the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Programs range from chamber duos to ensembles of young harpists, showcasing the harp's sonority alongside other instruments such as the violin, horn, and cor anglais.
