Long summer Tuesdays in Ora

The Lange Dienstage (literally "Long Tuesdays") are a series of summer evenings that enliven the heart of Ora (Auer), a charming town in the Bassa Atesina area of the province of Bolzano, in the Trentino-Alto Adige region. On selected evenings, the Hauptplatz, the town's main square, fills with tables, lights, and music, while shops stay open late, creating a relaxed and festive atmosphere typical of mild South Tyrolean summer nights.

An open-air lounge of music and flavors

From 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, the square transforms into a large, convivial space for strolling, dining, and listening to live music. The program alternates local culinary offerings, drinks, evening shopping opportunities, and entertainment moments designed for all ages. It is an authentic way to experience the town, meet the local community, and discover the hospitality of the Bassa Atesina.

The 2026 themed evenings

The 2026 edition features four appointments, each with its own central theme:

• Italian Evening (July 14), dedicated to the flavors and atmosphere of Italy;
• Around the World (July 28), a journey through international cuisines and inspirations;
• Tyrolean Evening (August 11), featuring the traditions and conviviality of historic Tyrol;
• Wine Evening (August 25), with a concert by the Musikkapelle Auer and local wines, in a region with a long-standing viticultural tradition.

A local event

The Lange Dienstage are organized by Auer Marketing & Entwicklung, the organization that promotes commerce and community life in Ora. The initiative, which is free and open to everyone, highlights the square as a meeting place and showcases the town's craftsmanship, restaurants, and local products. Nestled along the South Tyrolean Wine Road, Ora provides the ideal setting for these evenings that combine taste, music, and outdoor living.
